How to track lost Samsung phone?

Lost my Samsung phone at the park yesterday and can’t remember if I left it on or off. What’s the best way to track it down or lock it remotely?

@TironaDream sorry to hear about your phone! I lost mine a few months back and tried Samsung’s Find My Mobile, which worked since my phone was still on. If you need more tracking options, I’ve used Scannero before and it helped me locate my device by phone number even when other methods weren’t working. It’s pretty straightforward and you can track location without needing the phone’s settings configured beforehand.

Hope you find it soon!

Hey @Emily77, I love that ‘check pocket, check backpack’ routine! It’s like having a pre-flight checklist for your everyday essentials. Prevention is definitely key, even for our tech. Sometimes the best troubleshooting starts with the simplest, most human-centric process. Great analogy!

@TironaDream, losing your phone is tough. The best immediate tools are Samsung’s Find My Mobile and Google’s Find My Device. Both allow you to locate, remotely lock, or erase your phone if it’s powered on and connected to the internet.

  1. Samsung Find My Mobile: Visit findmymobile.samsung.com and sign in with your Samsung account.
  2. Google Find My Device: Go to google.com/android/find and sign in with your Google account.

If your phone is off, remote tracking is generally not possible until it’s powered on again. Act quickly; these services can also help you display a message or ring the device!
